Cordis are sponsoring the 2010 Recruiter Awards
Cordis are pleased to announce our sponsorship of the 2010 Recruiter Awards. The awards recognise excellence within the recruitment industry, including both in-house teams and external agencies. HRS, our recruitment software, has had a great start to the year in new sales, and we felt that it was only right for us to put a little back into the industry. HRS Lite has been a particular hit for us so far this year, providing our customers with a cost-effective, easy to use product that they can have up and running within 24 hours. At only £230 per user (a one off fee), it's perfect for the start ups and small agencies, and offers the feature set of a lot of the bigger products at fraction of the cost. We're currently planning the release of a new version of both HRS Pro and HRS Lite, aimed at shipping in second quarter this year - meaning we have lots to talk about. If anyone is going to be at the awards, and fancies talking more about the upcoming versions, send us an email here and we'll organise a time to meet up. You can read more about the Awards event here. We wish all our clients the very best of luck in the awards judging, and we'll be there to celebrate your successes - drinks on us!

Cordis add another FileMaker 10 certified developer
Cordis are very excited to announce we now have two FileMaker 10 certified developers, with Nicolai Kant becoming our second developer to pass the latest exam. Nicolai's pass is another step in Cordis ensuring our large collection of developers are all at the cutting edge of FileMaker development. Cordis has the largest collection of certified developers in the UK, and we plan to put all our developers through the latest exam. The certification is hugely important for Cordis, from both the developer and customer perspective. Our developers want to ensure that their knowledge is always up to date, and our customers want to be assured that our development is of the highest quality possible. The FileMaker certification process is a great way to achieve this. Nicolai added, "I am extremely happy to pass the exam. Special thanks to my Cordis team for the help and support. Without the variety of projects and challenges I deal with in my work it would be very difficult to prepare and pass. The experience and knowledge of my colleges, variety of training resources and materials provided by Cordis were a great benefit. "FileMaker Certification is great for a developer's professional development, and I recommend every FileMaker developer take it."
Cordis are now FileMaker 10 Certified!
Cordis are delighted to announce that Ian Jempson, our illustrious Technical Director, has this week passed the FileMaker 10 certification exam with flying colours! Ian is the first Cordis employee to sit the exam, which is an important part of our internal development programme. In fact, Cordis have more certified developers than any other FileMaker developer in the UK, which we think demonstrates our commitment to the process. Our customers demand the highest standards of quality, and ensuring that our programmers are certified is one way we can live up to these expectations. Certification is equally important to our developers by ensuring they are up to date with the latest FileMaker technologies, as well as being part of a very special development community. The certification process delivers a great return for Cordis on the small investment of time and money. "I'm pleased to have successfully completed the FileMaker 10 certification process. Having written the certification exam provides an independent verification that my skills are current on the FileMaker product range. Over the next few weeks the rest of the guys will be writing the exam as well. Since FileMaker certification is a key part of the ongoing development of the Cordis business, we're looking forward to all of them doing well." commented Ian.
